The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to be revealed in July during Samsung's second Galaxy Unpacked event of 2025, alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7. Although Samsung has not officially acknowledged the device, information about this upcoming foldable smartphone has begun to surface online. A recent leak has provided the first glimpse of the Galaxy Z Fold 7's design, following a report that disclosed its dimensions. This leak includes a detailed view of the phone’s rear camera setup.
A user on Weibo has posted what is claimed to be a render of the Galaxy Z Fold 7. While the original post has since been removed, giving the leak some credibility, other sources managed to screenshot the content before it vanished. The leaked image reveals the back design of the new phone, which features a recognizable vertical triple-camera arrangement. Based on this render, it seems that the appearance of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 may closely resemble that of its predecessor. The unit depicted in the image appears to be a prototype model.
Notably, the revealed photo shows a rearranged flash, aligning with previous speculations of a major camera enhancement. These alterations imply that there could be a larger sensor, possibly a 200-megapixel primary camera. Additionally, another recent leak provided insights into the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s design and dimensions. This upcoming model is believed to be the thinnest foldable smartphone available at its launch, with a thickness of just 3.9mm when opened and 8.9mm when closed. It is expected to come with a 4,400mAh battery and an edge-to-edge cover display.
The unveiling of Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 7 could take place in July, and it is rumored to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset with 12GB of RAM. It is also expected to retain the 25W wired charging capability found in previous models. The starting price for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is anticipated to be Rs. 1,64,999 for the entry-level configuration with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
