Samsung Galaxy F36 5G has made its debut in India.This latest phone from the South Korean company is priced below Rs. 20,000 in India and has an Exynos 1380 processor. It comes with a triple camera setup on the back, featuring a main 50-megapixel sensor. The device has a leather-like back and is available in three different colors. Additionally, it includes various AI functions such as Google’s Circle to Search and Gemini Live. The Galaxy F36 5G is powered by a 5,000mAh battery. The starting price for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is Rs 17,499. Samsung will also offer a model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage for Rs 18,999. The new F-series phone will be up for sale in India from July 29 at 12 PM through Flipkart and Samsung's official website. It will come in three colors - Coral Red, Luxe Violet, and Onyx Black. All three shades feature a leather finish on the back.
The Samsung Galaxy F36 5G is a dual-SIM phone that has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with full-HD+ quality, 120Hz refresh rate, and protection from Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+. The screen has a waterdrop notch at the top for the front camera. This phone is powered by an octa-core Exynos 1380 chip, along with a Mali-G68 MP5 GPU. It also includes a vapour chamber for keeping it cool. It supports up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card. For its cameras, the Galaxy F36 5G is equipped with a triple rear camera set, highlighted by a 50-megapixel f/1.8 main sensor that offers optical image stabilization (OIS) and the capability to record in 4K.

There is also an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies and video calls, it has a 13-megapixel front camera, which also supports 4K video recording. Samsung's latest F-series smartphone operates on Android 15 with One UI 7 pre-installed. The company has guaranteed six major Android software updates and seven years of security updates. It also includes several AI features like Google’s Circle to Search, Gemini Live, Object Eraser, Image Clipper, and AI Edit suggestions. The Galaxy F36 5G is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. It includes a fingerprint sensor on the side and a USB Type-C port for charging. In terms of connectivity, the phone provides dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, and GPS + GLONASS. The dimensions of the phone are 164.4 x 77.9 x 7.7 mm, and it weighs 197 grams.
