
Detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff's Office are searching San Francisco man in connection with the kidnapping of a 13 years old girl that occurred earlier in this year near Clovis. Two more persons were arrested earlier in this week in connection with the kidnapping. Deputies are now seeking Miguel Carriedo, a forty years old man, who is known to live both in Oakland and San Francisco.
On 16th Feb at 3:15 PM a 13 years old girl had just arrived at her home, located at EastShepherd and North Academy avenues near Clovis. A group of at least four masked men were outside the house and approached the girl before she went inside. The group then pulled the girl's backpack off of her and forced her inside their car.
The men drove the girl about 20 miles away, near Sycamore Road and Coyote Drive near the unincorporated community of Tollhouse. They forced the girl to get out of the car and punched her and kicked her. The suspects then fled the area in their car.
The teen was able to walk a short distance and found help from a resident in the area. The resident then called the sheriff's office. She was taken to a hospital for treatment.
During the investigation, the detectives found a woman , Sandra Garcia, 40 years old had been dating with the victim’s father. Detectives then found evidence, linking Garcia and her 18-year-old son, Mark Roque, also of Madera, to the kidnapping.
On Friday, police in Hanford arrested both of them in suspicion of conspiring to commit the kidnapping for financial gain, torturing and making death threats according to the Sheriff’s officials.
